With school just around the corner and students preparing for a new normal of what school will look like for the next few months, it seems as though everyone is on edge.
These last few months have been strange and uncomfortable for all of us and we would predict that the next to follow will be just as strange. With this in mind, we cannot lose sight of important issues that affect so many of us.
September brings a new season and many important issues like Craniofacial Awareness Month, Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, World Alzheimer’s Month, Duchenne Awareness Month, World Duchenne Day (Sept. 7th), World First Aid Day (Sept. 8th), World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept. 10th) Terry fox Run (Sept. 15th).
Here at GLA, we will attempt to honour each issue with a blog post to help raise awareness during this global pandemic.
